HISTORY TIME: Fun fact, in the 60s and 70s, agricultural supply companies and rural outfitters came up with the  design to promote their brands to farmers, truck drivers, and other laborers. The design features were made with those folks in mind – featuring a lightweight foam front panel, a mesh back for much-needed ventilation, and an adjustable one-size-fits-all snap closure – all making these hats perfect for hard outdoor labor. Companies like John Deere, Caterpillar, and International Harvester started giving away free promo hats to their customers, knowing there were no better ambassadors for their brands’ image. Over the years, the classic trucker hat has traveled from the hay fields and highways to fashion runways and everywhere in between without deviating from their original form & function.
